    Tell us what your podcast is about, who your audience is, what kind of music you’re envisioning, and how you’d like your listeners to feel when they listen to your podcast.

    Plan With Your Composer

    Music is personal, and so is your podcast. We make sure you have a real conversation with your composer so we can understand the heart behind your podcast and compose something that really feels right.

    Simple Composition & Revisions

    We write very basic versions of your signature song(s) for you to hear the mood and feel and give feedback if necessary. Then there are 2 rounds of revisions followed by your final approval. 

  • 4

    Final Recording

    We create professional studio recordings of your songs with your chosen instruments. We also create your "mood" tracks with the same instrumentation during this stage.

Fine Print

Our goal is to make our license as broad and useful as possible for podcast creators, and also compensate artist fairly for their talents.

Here's how our standard licensing works:

Unlimited Exclusive License
We custom compose music for your project. You get to use the music forever, on unlimited episodes, and no one else gets to use it for any project for 5 years. After 5 years Ear Club can license the music for other purposes, or you can renew your exclusive-use license.

Unlimited Non-exclusive License
We custom compose music for your project. You get to use the music forever, on unlimited episodes, but Ear Club can also license the music for other purposes.

Where you can use the music
You can use it on your podcast, YouTube/Vimeo, and streaming on your website. Other uses (TV, festival, film, video games, hold music) can be purchase for an additional fee.

Artist credit
Ear Club must be credited for the music in each episode. "No credit" licenses are available for an additional fee.
